Maintenance and Service

Your building management must have a Maintenance Agreement with a Maintenance Company. Maintenance should be carried out as described unless there are special circumstances. The maintenance and adjustments of security elements must be done according to the user manuals.

Necessary safety precautions must be taken before starting maintenance. A sign saying "Elevator Under Maintenance" must be placed on all floor doors. When maintenance is performed on machine and electrical components, the main power supply must be shut off to cut off electricity. The performed maintenance must be documented in the elevator maintenance logbook.

Maintenance and Service Scope:

ARTICLE - (1) Maintenance of the elevator and all its components must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance and operation manuals to ensure the continuation of life and property safety.

a) Operations covered by maintenance:

  1. Lubrication and cleaning

  2. Inspections

  3. Rescue operations

  4. Adjustments

  5. Repair or replacement of components due to use or wear that do not affect the characteristics of the elevator

b) Operations not covered by maintenance:

  1. Replacement of a main component such as the machine, elevator cabin door, control panel, guide rail, or safety mechanism, even if the characteristics of the new component are the same as the original

  2. Relocation of the elevator

  3. Any modification to the elevator's characteristics such as its speed or load capacity, including modernization

  4. Rescue operations performed by the fire department

  5. Cleaning of the external parts of the elevator shaft

  6. Cleaning of the interior of the elevator cabin
